My approach combines teamwork, empathy, and creative strategy to make technology accessible and enjoyable.
With a background in visual design and human-centered research, I love bridging the gap between business goals and user needs. I am always eager to collaborate and explore new challenges.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design and have worked on a variety of digital products in social impact, eCommerce and careers.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me spending time with my family, being silly at improv or getting outdoors with friends.

My Values
These are the values by which I approach problem spaces.
Data-driven
I believe that the design lies in the story told by the research and data. I love that UX is fuelled by an undeniable 'Why' which is primary to decision-making.
User-focussed
Designs fail without a fundamental sense of empathy and alignment with users — the best UX is when users don't even notice how easy it was.
Continuous refinement
The world is constantly changing and so are users. That's why I believe in continuing to refine through learning, testing and experimenting.

The user experience major broadly covered the human-computer interaction discipline starting with theoretical concepts like heuristic evaluation methods to practical application of user journey mapping, all the way to implementing our designs in HTML, CSS and Javascript when we redesigned and rebuilt the front-end of an eCommerce website.
A highlight of my degree was designing and 3D printing a prototype of a wearable device for a future smart city — which taught me to consider the different senses and body parts that can be used in interaction.
Throughout my degree I worked in groups of 4 - 5 members to create something each semester.
In the final capstone subject, my group designed a careers app which I was inspired to develop further post-graduation — known in my portfolio as Trailmix.
I also had the opportunity to undertake subjects outside the traditional design degree such as:
Cognitive Psychology where I learnt about the science of mental processes and how to process large amounts of research data in JSON.
Improvisation where I learnt about collaborating with others in unexpected situations that were often outside of my comfort zone.
Japanese which fuelled my continuous love of learning about other languages and cultures, and eventually motivated me to complete the last semester of my degree overseas in Tokyo, Japan.
